New Swingset

Papa Dan bought Dylan a new swingset! It is really nice - has a slide, a little fort at the top, a picnic table and swings. Eddy & I put it together and it took us 9 hours!! Quite the project - but Dylan thinks it is great!

Weekend

Papa Dan came to visit last weekend! The boys had fun while we were scrapping all day. They went to the zoo and other fun stuff! Dan just returned from a hunting safari in South Africa and brought us all back some really nice gifts! Jessica also gave Dylan a much-needed haircut while she was here! (Thanks Jess!)

National Scrapbook Day

Last Saturday, I held a National Scrapbook Day event! Alyssa and my friend Jessica came and stayed the weekend and attended. (Thanks for all the help girls!) We got up at 5:30 so we could go set up. We had it at my church - they were nice enough to let me use the building. It was fun - we scrapbooked from 8-5! The only downside was that I was still sick so I didnt feel all that great, but it was still fun.

Dylan's Buddies

Dylan's two best buds, Preston & Luke, came over for an afternoon last week! They had fun playing and chasing my cats. Eddy took them outside and let them swing and pulled them in the wagon!

Easter Morning

Dylan had fun looking for his Easter eggs. He got some toy dinasours in his basket and a bunch of candy. As you can see in the one picture, this is Josey's entire life . . . following Dylan hoping to steal a bite.

Bunk Beds

We bought bunk beds for Dylan today! He needed a big bed instead of his crib/toddler bed. We decided we might as well get bunk beds and then in a couple years, the 2nd child will be able to share a room with him. I wanted to go to Walmart and pick out the bedding, but Eddy insisted on coming along. I of course, found the cutest animal bedding but was overridden by the boys. Instead -- spiderman. Well, spiderman and batman (he has batman sheets). Mine would have been soooooo much cuter, but I was assured that this was more boyish and what boys will think is cool! I also got him some spiderman curtains to match and they miraculously fit perfectly!! Dylan is way excited and has already been climbing all over them.
