Sunglasses from Grandma

Dylan received some new sunglasses from his Grandma today! And we've decided he will probably be a professional model - he's already got the posing down! Thanks Grandma!!

Alyssa's Visit

Alyssa and Bergen came to visit us yesterday. We spent most of the time scrapbooking - Alyssa is the official scrapbooker for her kennel club. Dylan had lots of fun with his auntie and loved playing with Berg. He covered him with a blankie and brought him pillows to lay on and then after he was satisfied with his work, he said Berg was happy. Today, we walked over at the Falls and fed ducks and geese, and luckily saw some baby ducks. It was a fun visit - you need to do it more often, sis!!

A Windy Day

Eddy & Dylan tried to fly a kite yesterday. We had a lot of wind! It was fun for them even though they never got it to fly!

Airplane Museum

Today, we drove to Rexburg to see old airplanes!! All of the planes still fly! They were pretty cool to see. Dylan liked it since he's obsessed with "ahh panes". And of course, Eddy loved it! There was an old guy who gave us the tour and he had lots of stories to tell us about the planes. Here are a few pics!

Dylan's new climbing adventure today - he pulled a lawn chair over to his swing that's hanging in our back tree and climbed into the swing all by himself. Then just sat there and waited for someone to come push him. So now we have to wind the swing up in the tree when we're done!

We also took him to his first movie yesterday. We went and saw Kung Fu Panda - it was pretty funny. He did pretty well- he had a few moments where he wanted to get down and run around. And the movie had some firecrackers in it so our kid was the one yelling out "sirecrackers!!" I'm sure everyone appreciated it!

Dylan Has a Big Boy Bed!!

Well, we finally had to do it! He has been climbing out of the crib all week and so we transformed it into a "transitional bed". He thinks it's really cool - and I think it will be ok at night, but I think I may as well say goodbye to nap time now! He just plays the whole time

Dylan Attends His First Birthday Party!

Tonite, we went over to some friends for a birthday party. Dylan's friend, Luke, turned 2! It's so nice that Dylan has about 3-4 little boys that are all his age. He knows them all and plays pretty well with them. Tonite, he grabbed a big chunk of cake and tried to share it with Preston. He didn't want to leave since they had new toys to play with. On the way over , he kept saying "Yuke's house". Also, Luke's grandparents live in the town I was born in - Powell. And they are really neat people - the grandpa played with Dylan quite a bit tonite. It was fun to get out, Eddy ended up working a split shift today. So he worked all night, came home at 8am and then had to be back to work at 1pm. He'll be home tomorrow morning! Poor guy! Here's a couple pics from the party - i wanted to get one of all the boys together- but what a joke!

Trip to Aunt Peg's

So I guess the latest news is that I visited my Aunt Peggy ! I stayed 2 nights -and left Dylan with Ed. It was fun to see everyone! I also got to visit Michelle Coghlin (now Holguin)! She was there visiting family at the same time! Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her to post on here. But I did of Peg and also one of me & my cousin Jessi - I'm encouraging him to take up logic problems!!

My New Blog

Wow - Jessica finally succeeded in convincing me to start a blog! Just what I need, one more stupid thing to take up my time! But I think it will be pretty fun if I can figure everything out. Computers are so frustrating!!
