We celebrated July 4th early this year because Eddy is working over the holiday. So we BBQ's some steaks and watched a movie til' it got dark and then came out to do a few firecrackers. Dylan was really excited! Eddy even let him help light some of them. We only had one small fire (ha) -the blanket Dylan had brought out caught on fire somehow. But we put it out quickly. Josey even came out and sat with us and only tried to attack the last ones we did. Dylan was too afraid to hold the sparklers last year , but this year he was brave and did some! It was a fun evening!

How fun! Already Ashton won't stop asking when we get to light off some and begged me to buy some at the store the other day...only a few more days. You guys are good to celbrate early since Eddy has to work!
